MASSAGE  AND ENERGY SESSIONS MENU

*Gentle Touch for Fibromyalgia:*  Those with Fibromyalgia require a very gentle stroke due to the numerous trigger point sensitive ares throughout the body.  Each day is unique for fibromyalgia sufferers and a custom designed treatment will be provided with each session.   Client and therapist work together "one on one" to ensure optimal positioning for minimal discomfort during the bodywork session.  You should leave feeling better relaxed with improved mobility and less pain.

*Clinical Myofascial/Connective Tissue:* This massage is ideal for realigning the skeletal system.  Short and contracted fascia, and microscopic scar tissue within muscle fibers are very common factors that contribute to chronic pain.  After an injury or surgical procedure this choice of massage and bodywork assists with re-sculpting the body back to achieve its proper posture and gait pattern.   Slow and precise strokes with joint capsular spacing will re-lengthen tight or injured muscles and assist you to regain flexibility and mobility.  My continued education consists of the combined techniques of James Waslaski, LMT,   Thomas Myers, John Barnes and Eric Dalton.  After each myofascial session the body will feel reduced pain levels, have more flexibility with improved joint ROM / ranges of motion.

*Temporal Mandibular Joint disorder TMJ (TMJ or TMD) Massage*:  TMJ can be very painful causing headaches, pain and tenderness of the face,jaw joint, neck, shoulders and even inside or around the ear. Often there may be a clicking in the jaw.   Gentle massage of Temporalis, Masseter and other muscles of the face and neck will re-lengthen contractures causing the painful pressure felt at and around the disc between the temporal bone and Mandible.  Sterile gloves are worn as gums inside the mouth and the jaw's muscle attachment sites are also massaged.

*REIKI SESSIONS*

Reiki sessions may be received in conjunction with your primary care doctor's treatment and medications.  REIKI can be compared to acupuncture without the needles.  It is practiced in hospitals, clinics, PT centers, and other healthcare locations.  It reduces adverse reactions to chemotherapy and helps to boost the immune system, remove toxins, reinforce and balance the body's energy.  It promotes relaxation and assists with regeneration of body balance and overall well being.   Reiki sessions are also customized for client health care concerns.
